Who knows where to get an antique sword restored that is inscribed?
I am looking for any information on someone who does professional sword restoration for antique swords, I have a sword that is inscribed on the blade but has rust and dirt on it. I restore swords but have never done one that is inscribed and am very hesitant on it because I do not want to ruin the designs inscribed on the blade. If anyone knows who i can contact on this doesn’t matter what state I will ship the sword for restoration it would be very helpful. I know of no one that can restore this sword personally and need someone who has done this before to do it anyone who can help please reply!
I would phone around town to jewelry and trophy shops to see what they might suggest.
When travelling with it you’ll need to carry it in a way you won’t be perceived as having any intent of using it, however – special case, etc.
